This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks and large wooden vats at controlled temperatures. After fermentation, the wine matures for several months in French oak barrels.

This Austrian red wine should best be enjoyed at a temperature of 15 - 18°C. It pairs perfectly as an accompanying wine with vegetable couscous with beef meatballs, lamb ragout with chickpeas and dried figs, or goose breast with ginger red cabbage and marjoram.
