The P.+ P. Rot from the Württemberg wine-growing region presents itself in the glass in a bright ruby red. The nose of this red wine from Württemberg enchants with hints of blackberry. Following the aromas further, pepper, cloves, and toasted wood join in.
On the palate, the P.+ P. Rot from Weingut Graf Neipperg opens pleasantly dry, firm, and aromatic. On the tongue, this well-balanced red wine is characterized by an exceptionally dense texture. On the finish, this wine from the Württemberg wine-growing region delights with good length. Hints of blackberry appear again. In the aftertaste, mineral notes from the weathered rock and sandstone–dominated soils join in. In Württemberg, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on sandstone and weathered rock soils. After the grape harvest, the grapes reach the press house as quickly as possible. There they are selected and gently crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Once fermentation is complete, the wine matures for several months on the fine lees before it is finally bottled.
