Delheim's Pinotage glows in a bold ruby red dress. Aromas of black cherry, plum and red berry fruit caress the nose, while notes of dark chocolate and flowers emerge in the background. The tongue is lapped by red and black berry nuances as well as gossamer soft tannins that linger long on the palate.
Vinification for the Delheim Pinotage
Hand harvest in the vineyard and natural fermentation at low temperatures. Aging was done in oak barrels (of which 21% were new barrels) for 12 months.
