More information about Riesling Significa - Weingut Pieper
The Riesling Significa from the wine-growing region of Middle Rhine appears in the glass as a brilliantly shimmering pale yellow. Poured into a white wine glass, this Old World white wine displays wonderfully expressive aromas of peach, green apple, ripe apple, and lemon, rounded out by additional fruity nuances.
This wine delights with its elegantly dry taste profile. It was bottled with exceptionally low residual sugar. As one might expect from a wine in the higher price segment, this German wine naturally impresses with its fine balance despite its dryness. Aroma does not necessarily require residual sugar. Light-footed and multifaceted, this dense white wine presents itself on the palate. In the finish, this wine from the Middle Rhine wine region impresses with a beautiful length. Once again, notes of peach and lemon emerge.
Vinification of Weingut Pieper Riesling Significa
The elegant Riesling Significa from Germany is a single-varietal wine made from the Riesling grape. After harvest, the grapes are quickly transferred to the press house. Here, they are sorted and gently crushed. Following this, fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After fermentation ends, the Riesling Significa can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for several months.
