The balanced Scharlachberg Riesling QbA Rheinhessen from Germany is a single varietal wine, made from the Riesling grape variety. In Rheinhessen, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of sandstone. When perfectly ripe, the grapes for Scharlachberg Riesling QbA Rheinhessen are harvested exclusively by hand, without the help of coarse and less selective machines. After the harvest, the grapes are quickly transferred to the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully ground. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. The vinification is followed by a few months of aging on the fine lees before the wine is finally bottled.
