More information about Frickenhäuser Kapellenberg Silvaner - Bickel-Stumpf

The powerful Frickenhäuser Kapellenberg Silvaner from Bickel-Stumpf shimmers into the glass with a dense light yellow color. When swirling the glass, this white wine reveals a high density and fullness, which shows in church windows at the edge of the glass. The nose of this white wine from Franconia convinces with aromas of mirabelle, black cherry, plum and quince.Just its fruity nature makes this wine so special.

The Bickel-Stumpf Frickenhäuser Kapellenberg Silvaner presents itself to the wine drinker wonderfully dry. This white wine is never coarse or meager, as one might expect from a premium and site wine segment. This creamy white wine presents itself full-bodied and complex on the palate. Due to its present fruit acidity, the Frickenhäuser Kapellenberg Silvaner presents itself exceptionally fresh and lively on the palate. In the finish, this white wine from the wine-growing region of Franconia finally inspires with considerable length. Again, hints of pear and apricot appear. In the aftertaste, mineral notes of the limestone-dominated soils join in.

Vinification of the Frickenhäuser Kapellenberg Silvaner from Bickel-Stumpf

This powerful white wine from Germany is made from the Silvaner grape variety. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Franconia. The vines here dig their roots deep into soils of limestone. Clearly, Frickenhäuser Kapellenberg Silvaner is also determined by climatic and stylistic factors of Frickenhausen. This German wine can literally be called an Old World wine, which presents itself in an exceptionally impressive way. The fact that the Silvaner grapes thrive under the influence of a rather cool climate also has a very high influence on the development of the vintage. This manifests itself, among other things, in particularly long and uniform grapes and rather moderate alcohol content in the wine. When the perfect physiological ripeness is ensured, the grapes for the Frickenhäuser Kapellenberg Silvaner are harvested exclusively by hand without the help of coarse and less selective machines. After the hand harvest, the grapes reach the press house by the fastest route. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. Fermentation then takes place in small wood at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by aging for several months in 500 l oak barrels.

Food recommendation for the Frickenhäuser Kapellenberg Silvaner from Bickel-Stumpf
