With Campo Eliseo Verdejo Rueda, a first-class white wine makes its way into the glass. It presents a wonderfully dense, pale yellow color. When the glass is swirled, this white wine reveals high viscosity, which shows in pronounced church windows on the rim of the glass. The finish of this youthful white wine from the wine-growing region of Castile and León, more precisely from Rueda DO, finally impresses with a remarkable length.

Vinification of the Verdejo Rueda from Campo Eliseo

This wine clearly focuses on a single grape variety, namely Verdejo. Only immaculate grape material was used for this exceptionally powerful varietal wine from Campo Eliseo. Naturally, Verdejo Rueda is also shaped by the climate and viticultural style of Rueda DO. In the best sense of the word, this Spaniard can be described as an Old World wine that presents itself in an extraordinarily impressive way. After the harvest, the grapes are brought to the press house as quickly as possible. There they are selected and gently crushed. Fermentation in small wooden barrels at controlled temperatures follows. After the end of fermentation, the powerful Verdejo Rueda is matured for several more months in French oak barrels.

Ideally, enjoy this white wine from Spain moderately chilled at 11 - 13°C as an accompanying wine to coconut-lime fish curry, fruity endive salad or stir-fried vegetables with fish.
