More information about Viña Capellana Rosado - Bodegas Nodus
With the Bodegas Nodus Viña Capellana Rosado, a first-class rosé wine makes its way into the glass. There it offers a wonderfully bright, light red color. With a little time in the glass, this rosé wine from Spain reveals delightfully youthful aromas of orange and strawberry, rounded off by further fruity nuances.
On the palate, the Viña Capellana Rosado from Bodegas Nodus starts off delightfully dry, firm, and aromatic. Some wines are dry on the label, others truly are. This rosé belongs to the second group, as it was bottled with just 2 g of residual sugar. On the tongue, this well-balanced rosé is characterized by an incredibly crisp texture. Thanks to the moderate acidity, the Viña Capellana Rosado caresses the palate with a velvety mouthfeel, without lacking freshness. The finish of this rosé from the Valencia region, more precisely from Utiel-Requena DO, ultimately delights with a remarkable length. The aftertaste is also accompanied by mineral hints from the clay-dominated soils.
Vinification of Bodegas Nodus Viña Capellana Rosado
The balanced Viña Capellana Rosado from Spain is a varietal wine, vinified from the Tempranillo grape. In Valencia, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on clay soils. When they are perfectly ripe, the grapes for the Viña Capellana Rosado are harvested particularly quickly and at the coolest possible time of day to preserve their aromas. After harvesting, the grapes are immediately brought to the winery. There they are sorted and gently crushed. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After fermentation is complete, the Viña Capellana Rosado can continue to harmonize for a few months on the fine lees.
