More information about Weißburgunder Löss trocken - Weingut Manz

The light-footed Pinot Blanc Löss from the Manz winery enters the glass with a brilliant light yellow color. The nose of this white wine from Rheinhessen delights with hints of nashi pear, pear, quince and apple. If we trace the aromatics further, juniper, Mediterranean herbs and green peppers are added.

This wine delights with its elegantly dry flavor. It was bottled with only 5 grams of residual sugar. This is a real quality wine, which clearly stands out from simpler qualities and so this German wine enchants naturally with all dryness with the finest balance. Taste does not necessarily need sugar. Light-footed and complex, this melting white wine presents itself on the palate. Due to the balanced fruit acidity, the Pinot Blanc Löss flatters the palate with a pleasing feeling, without at the same time lacking freshness. The final of this white wine from the wine-growing region of Rheinhessen finally convinces with considerable reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral facets of the soils dominated by loess soil.

Vinification of the Pinot Blanc Loess from Manz Winery

The elegant Pinot Blanc Löss from Germany is a single varietal wine, vinified from the Pinot Blanc grape variety. In Rheinhessen, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of loess. After the grape harvest, the grapes reach the press house by the fastest route. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. At the end of fermentation, the Weissburgunder Löss is allowed to further harmonize on the fine lees for a few months.

Food recommendation for the Pinot Blanc Löss from Weingut Manz
