The Stefan Müller Weissburgunder presents itself to the wine lover pleasantly dry. This white wine never appears coarse or austere, as one might expect from a wine in the premium entry-level segment. On the palate, this light-footed white wine is characterized by an extremely delicate and crisp texture. Thanks to its lively acidity, the Weissburgunder appears impressively fresh and vibrant on the palate. The finish of this youthful white wine from the Saar region ultimately delights with good length. The aftertaste is also accompanied by mineral facets from the slate-dominated soils.
Vinification of the Weissburgunder from Stefan Müller
This white wine clearly focuses on a single grape variety, namely Pinot Blanc. Only first-class harvested grapes were used for this exceptionally elegant single-varietal wine from Stefan Müller. In the Saar, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on slate soils. At optimal ripeness, the grapes for the Weissburgunder are harvested exclusively by hand, without the use of rough and less selective machinery. After the grape harvest, the grapes are immediately brought to the winery. There they are sorted and gently crushed. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After the end of fermentation, the Weissburgunder can continue to harmonize for a few months on the fine lees.

This German white wine is best enjoyed well chilled at 8 - 10°C. It is perfect as an accompanying wine with asparagus salad with quinoa, vegetable salad with beetroot or fruity endive salad.
