More information about Bacchus halbtrocken - Dr. Hinkel

To the nose, this Dr. Hinkel white wine reveals all kinds of orange blossom, pears, apples, pineapple and cherry blossoms. As if that weren’t impressive enough, further aromas such as roasted almond, walnut and roasted hazelnut are added thanks to maturation in stainless steel.

Kein Bacchus can rightly be described as exceptionally fruit-forward and velvety, as it was vinified with a wonderfully sweet flavor profile. Light-footed and multi-faceted, this light white wine presents itself on the palate. Thanks to its lively acidity, the Bacchus appears exceptionally fresh and vibrant on the palate. The finish of this youthful white wine from the Rheinhessen wine-growing region ultimately impresses with a lovely aftertaste.

Vinification of the Bacchus by Dr. Hinkel

The elegant Bacchus from Germany is a single-varietal wine made from the Bacchus grape variety. After hand-picking, the grapes are brought to the winery as quickly as possible. There they are selected and gently crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After fermentation, the wine ages for several months on the fine lees before it is finally bottled.

Food recommendation for the Bacchus by Dr. Hinkel

This white wine from Germany is best enjoyed moderately chilled at 11 - 13°C. It pairs perfectly as an accompanying wine with omelette with salmon and fennel, fried trout with ginger-pear, or fruity endive salad.
