More information about Blanc de Noir trocken - Weinbiet Manufaktur

With the Weinbiet Manufaktur Blanc de Noir comes a first-class white wine into the swirled glass. There it shows a wonderfully bright, light red color. The bouquet of this white wine from the Palatinate seduces with notes of banana. If we trace the aroma further, Galia melon comes in.

This wine tastes pleasantly dry. It was bottled with 6.8 grams of residual sugar. This is a real quality wine that clearly stands out from simpler qualities, and so this German wine naturally enraptures with the finest balance despite all its dryness. Taste does not necessarily need a lot of residual sugar. On the tongue, this well-balanced white wine is characterized by an incredibly melting texture. Due to its lively fruit acidity, the Blanc de Noir presents itself impressively fresh and lively on the palate. The finale of this white wine from the wine-growing region the Palatinate, more precisely from the Neustadt, finally thrilled with considerable reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral hints of the clay-dominated soils.

Vinification of the Weinbiet Manufaktur Blanc de Noir

The starting point for the first-class and wonderfully balanced Cuvée Blanc de Noir from Weinbiet Manufaktur are Merlot and Pinot Noir grapes. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in the Palatinate region. The vines here dig their roots deep into soils of clay. The berries for this white wine from Germany, at the time of optimal ripeness, are harvested particularly quickly and at the coolest possible time of day to preserve their aromas. After the manual harvest, the grapes reach the winery in the fastest way. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After the end of fermentation, the Blanc de Noir can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for a few months.

Food recommendation for Weinbiet Manufaktur Blanc de Noir

This German white wine is best enjoyed moderately chilled at 11 - 13°C. It is perfect as an accompanying wine to roasted trout with ginger pear, wok vegetables with fish or omelet with salmon and fennel.
