Vinification of Domäne Wachau Blauer Zweigelt Classic

The basis for the balanced Blauer Zweigelt Classic from Lower Austria is grapes of the Zweigelt variety. After hand-picking, the grapes are quickly brought to the press house. There they are sorted and gently crushed. This is followed by fermentation in large wooden vats at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by maturation for several months in oak barrels.
