More information about Kreuznacher Riesling - Weingut In den Zehn Morgen
The Kreuznacher Riesling from Weingut In den Zehn Morgen from the Nahe presents a bright, light yellow color in the wine glass. With a little time in the glass, this white wine from the Old World reveals wonderfully expressive aromas of lemon and ripe apple, rounded out by other fruity nuances.
This German wine delights with its elegantly dry flavor. It was bottled with exceptionally little residual sugar. As you would expect from a wine in the upper price range, this German wine naturally enchants with the finest balance despite all its dryness. Aroma does not necessarily need a lot of sugar. On the tongue, this well-balanced white wine is characterized by an incredibly creamy texture. The final of this white wine from the wine-growing region of the Nahe, more precisely from Bad Kreuznach, finally impresses with considerable reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral notes of the soils dominated by marl and sandstone.
Vinification of the winery In den Zehn Morgen Kreuznacher Riesling
The basis for the balanced Kreuznacher Riesling from Germany are grapes from the Riesling grape variety. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in the Nahe region. Here, the vines dig their roots deep into soils of sandstone and marl. When they are perfectly ripe, the grapes for Kreuznacher Riesling are harvested exclusively by hand without the use of coarse and less selective machines. After the harvest, the grapes reach the press house by the fastest route. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by aging on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally drawn into bottles.
