Vinification of the Mas Rabell Rosado by Miguel Torres
The balanced Mas Rabell Rosado from Spain is a cuvée, made from the Cariñena and Garnacha grape varieties. In Catalonia, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of clay and limestone. After the harvest, the grapes are quickly taken to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. The vinification is followed by a few months of aging on the fine lees before the wine is finally bottled.
