The elegant Mongris Pinot Grigio Collio from Marco Felluga glides into the glass with luminous copper gold. Ideally poured into a white wine glass, this white wine from the Old World offers wonderfully expressive aromas of quince, apple, nashi pears and violets, rounded off by other fruity nuances.
The Mongris Pinot Grigio Collio by Marco Felluga is perfect for all wine lovers who like it dry. But it never proves sparse or brittle, as you can expect with a wine beyond the supermarkets. On the palate, the texture of this balanced white wine is perfectly balanced. Thanks to its vital fruit acid, the Mongris Pinot Grigio Collio is fantastically fresh and lively on the palate. The finale of this maturable white wine from the Friuli-Venezia Giulia wine-growing region, more precisely from Collio, finally captivates with exceptional reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral notes of the soils dominated by clay and sandstone.
Vinification of Marco Felluga Mongris Pinot Grigio Collio
This balanced white wine from Italy is made from the Grauburgunder grape variety. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Friuli-Venezia Giulia. Here the vines dig their roots deep into soils of clay, sandstone, clay and marl. After the hand-picking, the grapes quickly reach the press house. Here you are selected and gently ground. Fermentation is then carried out in a stainless steel tank at controlled temperatures. The fermentation is followed by ageing for a few months on the fine yeast before the wine is finally bottled. The ageing is followed by a remarkable bottle maturation, which makes this white wine even more complex.
