With the Domiziano Negroamaro, a first-class red wine finds its way into the glass. It presents a wonderfully dense, ruby-red color. The first nose of the Negroamaro shows nuances of figs. Additional fruity-balsamic nuances join the fruity aspects of the bouquet.
On the palate, the Negroamaro from Domiziano opens pleasantly dry, gripping and aromatic. On the palate, the texture of this powerful red wine is wonderfully velvety, fleshy and dense. On the finish, this wine from the Apulia wine-growing region delights with a lovely length. Hints of fig appear once again. In the aftertaste, mineral notes from the clay-dominated soils are added.
Vinification of the Domiziano Negroamaro
This powerful red wine from Italy is vinified from the Malvasia Nera and Negroamaro grape varieties. In Apulia, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on clay soils. After the grape harvest, the grapes are brought to the press house as quickly as possible. There they are selected and gently crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After fermentation is complete, the Negroamaro can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for 12 months.
