The Villa Chiopris Prosecco Spumante extra dry DOC from Azienda Agricola Villa Chiopris shines in the glass in a delicate, pale straw yellow with a fine, lively and evenly rising perlage. On the nose, this Italian sparkling wine reveals typical fruity, harmonious aromas, delicately tingling, fresh and fruity on the palate with delicate aromatic nuances in the background.
Vinification of Villa Chiopris Prosecco Spumante extra dry DOC from Villa Chiopris
The grapes for this fresh Prosecco made from 100% Glera are grown on the Villa Chiopris estate owned by the Livon family in the Grave wine-growing region of Friuli, where the soils are mainly characterized by gravel and alluvial deposits. Only the best grapes are selected for Prosecco during the grape harvest. To produce the base wine, the must is clarified cold by natural decantation. Fermentation also takes place at a low temperature. The wine is then filtered and transferred to special stainless steel tanks for sparkling wine production according to the Charmat method, which takes place at a controlled temperature of between 14° and 3°C. Once this process is complete, the Prosecco Spumante is bottled and left to mature in the bottle for a certain amount of time before being released for sale.

This light Prosecco from Friuli is particularly suitable to be enjoyed outside a meal and as an aperitif, excellent with light starters, pasta or risotto with tender vegetables or seafood, but also as a main course with fish. Best served at a temperature of 6° to 8°C.
