Vinification of the Lorenz & Söhne Punktlandung Sauvignon Blanc
The basis for the elegant Punktlandung Sauvignon Blanc from the Nahe are grapes from the Sauvignon Blanc grape variety. When perfectly ripe, the grapes for the Punktlandung Sauvignon Blanc are harvested exclusively by hand without the help of coarse and less selective grape harvesters. After the harvest, the grapes quickly reach the winery. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After its end, the Punktlandung Sauvignon Blanc can further harmonize on the fine lees for a few months.
