The powerful Retro Red Selection Vipavska Dolina ZGP from Slovenia is a cuvée, organically produced from the grape varieties Barbera, Cabernet Franc and Merlot. After the grape harvest, the grapes are quickly brought to the winery. There they are sorted and gently crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After fermentation, the wine is matured for several months on the fine lees before it is finally bottled.
