Vinification of the Riesling Sekt Extra Brut by Weingut Markgraf von Baden

This sparkling wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, and that is Riesling. Only impeccable grapes were used for this exceptionally elegant varietal wine from Weingut Markgraf von Baden. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Baden. The vines here dig their roots deep into soils of granite. Riesling Sekt Extra Brut is an Old World wine in the best sense of the word, as this German wine breathes an extraordinary European charm that clearly underscores the success of Old World wines. The ripeness of the grapes for this wine made from Riesling is influenced to an undeniable extent by the climate of the growing region. In Baden, the grapes thrive in a rather cool climate, which is reflected, among other things, in particularly long and uniform grapes and a rather moderate must weight. After harvesting, the grapes are immediately taken to the pressing house. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. The fermentation of the base wines follows. After the assemblage of the sparkling wine follows the further aging based on the classic bottle fermentation. Subsequently, the winery Markgraf von Baden Riesling Sekt Extra Brut matures for several months in the bottle and is finally disgorged.

Food recommendation for the winery Markgraf von Baden Riesling Sekt Extra Brut
