More information about Rosato Puglia IGT - Il Tauro
The light-footed Rosato Puglia from the house of Il Tauro flows into the glass with brilliant raspberry-pink. The initial aroma of the Rosato Puglia reveals notes of Nashi pear, apples, and pears. Fruity aspects of the bouquet are complemented by cinnamon, black tea, and gingerbread spices.
Il Tauro Rosato Puglia impresses with its elegantly dry taste profile. It was bottled with 11 grams of residual sugar. As one would naturally expect from a wine priced beyond the 4-euro mark, this Italian delights with excellent balance despite its dryness. Flavor does not necessarily require a lot of residual sugar. On the palate, the texture of this light-footed rosé wine is wonderfully light. Thanks to its pronounced fruity acidity, the Rosato Puglia reveals itself as refreshingly and vibrantly lively. The finish of this youthful rosé wine from the Apulia wine region, specifically from Puglia IGT, finally impresses with a good aftertaste.
Vinification of Il Tauro Rosato Puglia
This rosé wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, namely Primitivo. For this exceptionally elegant single-varietal wine from Il Tauro, only the finest grape material is harvested. The grapes for this Italian rosé wine are handpicked only after ensuring optimal ripeness. After hand harvesting, the grapes are immediately taken to the winery. Here, they are sorted and gently crushed. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After fermentation ends, the Rosato Puglia can further harmonize on fine lees for several months.
Food pairing recommendation for Il Tauro Rosato Puglia
