More information

The Sant 'Antimo Olmaia by Col d 'Orcia presents itself in the glass in an intense ruby red and unfolds its grape variety typical bouquet with the aromas of forest fruits, plums and cassis. These notes are rounded off by the spicy aromas of spices and oak

This red wine from Tuscany is meaty on the palate with a great structure. The tannins are soft and harmonize perfectly with the classic oak notes. The reverberation is long-lasting and spicy.

Vinification for the Sant 'Antimo Olmaia of Col d 'Orcia

The vines for this pure Cabernet Sauvignon grow in vineyards in Olmaia, Montalcino.

After the hand harvest, the grapes were selected again before fermentation. Fermentation and maceration took place over a period of 20 days in stainless steel tanks, followed by malolactic fermentation. Sant 'Antimo Olmaia matured for 18 months in French and American oak barrels and another 8 months in bottle.
