More information about Sauvignon Blanc Nussdorf trocken - Emil Bauer

With the Emil Bauer Sauvignon Blanc Nussdorf comes a first-class white wine in the wine glass. In this it shows a wonderfully bright, light yellow color. To the nose, this Emil Bauer white wine presents all sorts of lemons, oranges, cherry blossoms, kumquats and orange blossom. As if that weren't impressive enough, forest floor and sun-warmed rocks join in due to the aging in large wooden barrels.

The Sauvignon Blanc Nussdorf from Emil Bauer is a good choice for all connoisseurs who like it dry. However, it is never sparse or brittle, but round and smooth. On the tongue, this balanced white wine is characterized by an incredibly velvety texture. In the finish, this white wine from the wine-growing region of Palatinate finally inspires with good length. There are again hints of grapefruit and lime. In the aftertaste, mineral notes of the soils dominated by loess and limestone join in.

Vinification of the Emil Bauer Sauvignon Blanc Nussdorf

This white wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, Sauvignon Blanc. Only first-class grapes were used for this exceptionally balanced single-varietal wine from Emil Bauer. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in the Palatinate. The vines here dig their roots deep into soils of clay, limestone and loess. The grapes for this white wine from Germany, at the time of optimal ripeness, are harvested exclusively by hand. After the harvest, the grapes reach the press house by the fastest route. Here they are sorted and carefully ground. Fermentation follows in large wood at controlled temperatures. The vinification is followed by maturation for several months in double oak barrels.

Food recommendation for Emil Bauer Sauvignon Blanc Nussdorf

This German wine is best enjoyed well chilled at 8 - 10°C. It is perfect as an accompanying wine to spaghetti with yogurt-mint pesto, cabbage roulades or roasted trout with ginger pear.
