More information about Bockenauer Felseneck Riesling Kabinett - Schäfer-Fröhlich

The Bockenauer Felseneck Riesling Kabinett from the wine-growing region of the Nahe reveals itself in the glass in brilliantly shimmering light yellow. After the first swirl, this white wine is characterized by an immense lightness that makes it dance peppy in the glass. The first nose of the Bockenauer Felseneck Riesling Kabinett flatters with nuances of nashi pear, quince and pears. The fruity hints of the bouquet are joined by sun-warmed rocks, juniper and Mediterranean herbs.

The Bockenauer Felseneck Riesling Kabinett can justifiably be described as exceptionally fruit-driven and velvety, having been vinified with a pleasantly sweet flavor profile. Due to its lively fruit acidity, the Bockenauer Felseneck Riesling Kabinett presents itself impressively fresh and lively on the palate. In the finish, this very storable from the winegrowing region the Nahe finally inspires with beautiful length. Once again, hints of nashi pear and quince show through. In the aftertaste, mineral notes of the slate-dominated soils join in.

Vinification of the Schäfer-Fröhlich Bockenauer Felseneck Riesling Kabinett

This white wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, and that is Riesling. Only the best grape material was used for this wonderfully elegant single-varietal wine from Schäfer-Fröhlich. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in the Nahe region. The vines here dig their roots deep into soils of slate. After the grape harvest, the grapes are quickly taken to the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place at controlled temperatures. The vinification is followed by maturation.

Food recommendation for Schäfer-Fröhlich Bockenauer Felseneck Riesling Kabinett
