More information about Secco rosé trocken - Emil Bauer

The Secco rosé from the pen of Emil Bauer from the Palatinate presents a brilliant, light yellow color in the glass. The sparkle of this Secco presents itself consistent and fine. In the glass, this sparkling wine from Emil Bauer offers aromas of physalis, star fruit, papayas, pineapples and mangos, complemented by whole-nut chocolate, brittle and roasted hazelnut. On the palate, Emil Bauer's Secco rosé starts out wonderfully aromatic, fruit-driven and balanced. Here the texture of this light-footed sparkling wine presents itself wonderfully crisp. In the finish, this sparkling wine from the wine-growing region of Palatinate finally inspires with good length. Again, hints of pineapple and mango appear. In the aftertaste, mineral notes of the soils dominated by loess and loam join in.

Vinification of the Emil Bauer Secco rosé

This elegant sparkling wine from Germany is made from the grape varieties Blauer Portugieser, Dornfelder, Pinot Meunier and Riesling. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in the Palatinate region. Here, the vines dig their roots deep into soils of clay, limestone and loess. After the harvest, the grapes are quickly brought to the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. The fermentation of the base wines then takes place.

Food recommendation for Emil Bauer Secco rosé

Enjoy this sparkling wine from Germany ideally very well chilled at 5 - 7°C as an accompaniment to almond milk jelly with lychees, blackberry cream dessert or banana trifle in a glass.
