More information about Teroldego - Vindimian Rudi

The Teroldego from Vindimian Rudi from Trentino-Alto Adige displays a luminous, ruby red color when swirled in the glass. The nose reveals a variety of strawberries.

Aroma does not necessarily require a lot of sugar. This light red wine is balanced and complex on the palate. Ultimately, it impresses with a noteworthy length in the finish. Once again, hints of strawberries emerge. In the aftertaste, mineral notes from the limestone-dominated soils also join in.

Vinification of the Teroldego by Vindimian Rudi

This wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, namely Teroldego. Only impeccable grapes were harvested for this extraordinarily well-balanced, varietally pure wine from Vindimian Rudi. In Trentino-Alto Adige, the vines producing the grapes for this wine grow on limestone soils. The grapes for this Italian red wine are harvested exclusively by hand once optimal ripeness is assured. After handpicking, the grapes are quickly taken to the press house, where they are sorted and gently crushed. Subsequently, fermentation takes place in small wooden vessels at controlled temperatures. After fermentation ends, the elegant Teroldego is matured for several months in oak barrels.
