More information about Vanita Nero d'Avola Appassite Sicilia DOC - Farnese Vini
The elegant Vanita Nero d'Avola Appassite from Farnese Vini shimmers in the glass with a bright purple red color. Poured into a Bordeaux glass, this red wine from the Old World presents wonderfully expressive aromas of blueberry, black cherry, plum and morello cherry, rounded off with vanilla, black tea and dark chocolate from the barrel ageing process.
The Vanita Nero d'Avola Appassite can rightly be described as exceptionally fruity and velvety, as it has been vinified with a wonderfully smooth flavour profile. On the palate, this balanced red wine is characterized by an incredibly dense texture. Thanks to its moderate fruit acidity, the Vanita Nero d'Avola Appassite flatters the palate with a soft feel without lacking any juicy liveliness. The finish of this youthful red wine from the wine-growing region of Sicily, more precisely from the Sicilia DOC, is convincing with a good aftertaste.
Vinification of the Vanita Nero d'Avola Appassite from Farnese Vini
This wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, namely Nero d'Avola. Only first-class grapes were used for this exceptionally well-balanced single-varietal wine from Farnese Vini. After manual harvesting, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. The fermentation is followed by maturation for several months in French and American oak barrels.
