Vigna Morlongo Bardolino Classico DOC - Villabella

The Vigna Morlongo Bardolino Classico from Villabella is the epitome of fruitiness. The cuvée comes into the glass in a bright cherry red. The nose is caressed by opulent cherry fruit, with the bouquet alternating between ripe black cherries, cherry jam and dried cherries. These hints are rounded off with nuances of raspberries, redcurrants and wild strawberries.

On the palate, the Vigna Morlongo Bardolino Classico from Veneto is wonderfully fresh, the fruitiness from the bouquet is found here again and is characterized by spicy notes and balanced tannins and a fresh, lively fruit acidity.

Vinification of Vigna Morlongo Bardolino Classico

In the hinterland of Lake Garda, on the moraine hills of Cavaion Veronese, the vineyards are home to the Corvina, Rondinella and Corvinone grape varieties, which are traditionally used for Bardolino.

After harvesting and maceration, the wine is matured for 12 months in large wooden barrels and then further refined in the bottle.
