Riesling trocken von Wagner-Stempel is a varietal, lively and fresh white wine from the German wine-growing region of Siefersheim in Rheinhessen. The Riesling grapes come from organic farming.
In the glass, this wine presents itself in a clear, light yellow color with green highlights. The bouquet impresses with a fruity aroma of apricot fruit, green apples and sun-ripened citrus fruits. The apricot fruit also comes to bear on the palate of this German white wine and is accompanied by a fresh, animating acidity. The mineral and extracted body gives the Wagner stamp Riesling a perfectly integrated, medium volume. All components are in a high balance with each other and lead to a pleasant final.
Vinification of the Wagner stamp Riesling dry
The organically grown Riesling grapes originate from the most diverse locations of the Siefersheim vineyards. The vines are largely rooted in sandy clay with porphyry weathering rock underground.
Only by hand are the grapes harvested and strictly selected. Once the grapes have arrived in the Wagner-Stempel wine cellar, the must is fermented in stainless steel tanks. This white wine is then aged both in stainless steel tanks and in traditional German oak barrels.
