More information about Rebhuhn Riesling trocken - Aldinger
The Partridge Riesling of the Aldinger winery is the first-class entry into the Riesling portfolio of the Württemberg top winery Aldinger. The estate wine comes into the glass with a bright, platinum-yellow color. The nose is filled with subtle hints of Granny Smith apples, lime juice as well as zest and some white vineyard peach. Delicate nuances of apricot and mirabelle plum round out the bouquet of the Aldinger Rebhuhn Riesling.
On the palate, the Rebhuhn Riesling starts out wonderfully tangy, juicy and fresh. An excellent balance of vital fruit acidity and delicate residual sweetness makes the Rebhuhn a perfect everyday wine with ambition. On the finish, a fine minerality joins the aromas of the nose.
Vinification of the Partridge Riesling from Aldinger
The partridge stands, not only for the Aldinger family, for the living vineyard. Therefore, the winery supports the organization Nature Life International in creating new habitats for partridges in the vineyard.
60% of the Riesling must for this wine is fermented spontaneously at 17-20°C and February is aged on the lees. In total, 20% of the wine is refined in barrels, the rest in stainless steel tanks.
