The Pinot Blanc from the Baden wine-growing region reveals itself in the glass in a brilliant pale yellow. Poured into a white wine glass, this white wine from Germany unveils wonderfully expressive aromas of green apple and peach, rounded off by further fruity nuances.
This wine delights with its elegantly dry taste profile. It was bottled with only 1 gram of residual sugar. As one would expect from a wine, this German wine, despite all its dryness, naturally enchants with the finest balance. Aroma does not necessarily require sugar. Vinification of the Freiherr von Gleichenstein Weisser Burgunder
The balanced Pinot Blanc from Germany is a varietal wine, vinified from the Weissburgunder grape variety. In Baden, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on loess soils. After harvesting, the grapes are brought to the press house as quickly as possible. There they are selected and gently crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After fermentation is complete, the Pinot Blanc can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for several months.
