More information about Alsheim Spätburgunder trocken - Juwel Weine

The elegant Alsheim Pinot Noir from Weingut Juwel comes into the glass with a bright ruby red color. When swirling the glass, one can perceive a perfect balance in this red wine, as it does not stand out watery or syrupy or liqueur-like on the walls of the glass. Poured into a red wine glass, this red wine from Germany offers wonderfully expressive aromas of black cherry, plum, mulberry and morello cherry, rounded out by toasted barrique, sun-warmed rock and oak.

This red from winery Juwel is perfect for those who like as little sweetness in the wine as possible. At the same time, however, it never appears meager or brittle, as one would naturally expect from a wine premium and site wine segment. Due to its present fruit acidity, the Alsheim Pinot Noir presents itself wonderfully fresh and lively on the palate. The finale of this good aging red wine from the wine-growing region of Rheinhessen finally convinces with exceptional reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral facets of the limestone-dominated soils.

Vinification of the Winery Juwel Alsheim Pinot Noir

This red wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, Pinot Noir. Only first-class grape material was harvested for this wonderfully balanced varietal wine from Weingut Juwel. In Rheinhessen, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of limestone. The ripeness of the grapes for this wine made from Pinot Noir is influenced to a considerable extent by the climate of the growing region. In Rheinhessen, the grapes thrive in a rather cool climate, which is reflected, among other things, in particularly long and uniform grapes and a rather moderate must weight. After the grapes have been harvested, they are taken by the fastest route to the pressing house. Here they are sorted and carefully milled. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After the end of fermentation, the Alsheim Pinot Noir can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for a few months....

Food recommendation for the winery Juwel Alsheim Pinot Noir

This red wine from Germany is best enjoyed moderately chilled at 11 - 13°C. It is perfect as a companion to vegetable couscous with beef meatballs, duck breast with sugar snap peas or goose breast with ginger red cabbage and marjoram.
