More information about Rotenfels Spätburgunder trocken - Weingut Bäder

The elegant Pinot Noir from Weingut Bäder comes from the Alzeyer Rotenfels site and shimmers into the glass with a bright light red. At the edges, this German red also shows a transition into garnet red. After the first swirl, one can perceive a first-rate balance in this red wine, as it does not stand out on the walls of the glass as watery or syrupy or liqueur-like. The first nose of Pinot Noir shows notes of blueberries, blackcurrants and blackberries. The fruity parts of the bouquet are joined by toasted barrique, cigar box and oak.

This dry red wine from Weingut Bäder is just right for people who can't drink their wine dry enough. The Pinot Noir already comes very close to this, as it was vinified with just 0.4 grams of residual sugar. Due to its concise fruit acidity, the Pinot Noir reveals itself to be exceptionally fresh and lively on the palate. The finish of this red wine from the wine-growing region of Rheinhessen, which is capable of aging well, finally inspires with considerable reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral notes of the soils dominated by silicate rock.

Vinification of the Pinot Noir from Weingut Bäder

This balanced red wine from Germany is vinified from the Pinot Noir grape variety. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Rheinhessen. The vines here dig their roots deep into soils of silicate rock. Spätburgunder is an Old World wine in the best sense of the word, as this German wine exudes an extraordinary European charm that clearly underscores the success of Old World wines. After the hand harvest, the grapes reach the press house by the fastest route. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Once fermentation is complete, the Pinot Noir can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for a few months....

Food recommendation for the Weingut Bäder Pinot Noir

Experience this red wine from Germany ideally tempered at 15 - 18 ° C as a companion to chickpea curry, spaghetti with caper-tomato sauce or arugula penne.
