The ripening of the grapes for this wine made from Pinot Noir is influenced to a considerable extent by the climate of the growing region. In the Rheingau, the grapes thrive in a rather cool climate, which is reflected, among other things, in particularly long and even grapes and a rather moderate must weight. When the perfect physiological ripeness is ensured, the grapes for Assmannshäuser Rosé Sekt brut nature are harvested exclusively by hand without the help of coarse and less selective grape harvesters. Following the hand harvest, the grapes are quickly brought to the winery. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Then the fermentation of the base wines takes place. After the assemblage of the sparkling wine follows the further development on the basis of the classical bottle fermentation. Subsequently, the Weingut Künstler Assmannshäuser Rosé Sekt brut nature matures for several months in the bottle and is finally disgorged.
