Vinification of Azienda Agricola Gorgo Bardolino

The basis for the first-class and wonderfully elegant Bardolino cuvée from Azienda Agricola Gorgo consists of Corvina, Molinara, and Rondinella grapes. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Veneto. Here, the vines drive their roots deep into soils of sedimentary and weathered rock. Quite clearly, the Bardolino is shaped by more than just the soil of Bardolino DOC. This Italian can quite literally be described as an Old World wine that presents itself in an exceptionally impressive manner. After harvesting, the grapes are brought to the winery without delay. There they are selected and gently crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After fermentation is complete, the Bardolino can continue to harmonize for several months on the fine lees.
