Vinification of the Abril Bischoffinger Enselberg ZEIT Pinot Noir Reserve

This wine clearly focuses on a single grape variety, namely Pinot Noir. Only the best harvest material was used for this wonderfully balanced varietal wine from Abril. After the grape harvest, the grapes are brought to the winery immediately. There they are selected and gently crushed. Fermentation then takes place in small wooden barrels at controlled temperatures. After fermentation, the wine is aged for several months in oak barriques.

Food recommendation for the Bischoffinger Enselberg ZEIT Pinot Noir Reserve from Abril

This German red wine is best enjoyed moderately chilled at 11 - 13°C. It is perfectly suited as an accompaniment to boiled fillet of veal with beans and tomatoes, duck breast with snow peas, or lamb ragout with chickpeas and dried figs.
