More information about Bundschuh Cabernet Sauvignon trocken - Emil Bauer

The elegant Bundschuh Cabernet Sauvignon from Emil Bauer flows into the glass with a bright purple color. Poured into a white wine glass, this red wine from Germany offers wonderfully expressive aromas of blueberry, black currant, blackberry and mulberry, rounded off by garrigue, juniper and lovage.

This red from Emil Bauer is perfect for all wine lovers who like it dry. However, it never appears sparse or brittle, but round and smooth. Balanced and complex, this dense red wine presents itself on the palate. The final of this red wine from the wine-growing region of Palatinate finally convinces with considerable reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral hints of the soils dominated by clay and limestone.

Vinification of the Bundschuh Cabernet Sauvignon from Emil Bauer

The basis for the balanced Bundschuh Cabernet Sauvignon from the Palatinate are grapes from the grape variety Cabernet Sauvignon. In the Palatinate, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of clay, limestone and loess. After the hand harvest, the grapes arrive quickly at the winery. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by aging on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally drawn into bottles.

Food recommendation for the Bundschuh Cabernet Sauvignon by Emil Bauer

This German wine is best enjoyed at a temperate 15 - 18°C. It is perfect as an accompanying wine to red onions stuffed with couscous and apricots, roasted calf's liver with apples, onions and balsamic vinegar sauce or veal and onion casserole.
