On the finish, this wine from the Catalonia wine-growing region delights with beautiful length. Once again, hints of peach appear. In the aftertaste, mineral notes from the clay- and limestone-dominated soils join in.
Vinification of Raventos Rosell Cava Brut Nature
The elegant Cava Brut Nature from Spain is a cuvée made from the grape varieties Chardonnay, Parellada, Pinot Noir, Viura, and Xarel-lo. In Catalonia, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on clay and limestone soils. After the grape harvest, the grapes are immediately brought to the press house. There they are selected and gently crushed. This is followed by the fermentation of the base wines. After blending the cuvée, further maturation follows on the basis of the méthode traditionnelle. Afterwards, the Raventos Rosell Cava Brut Nature matures for several months in the bottle and is finally disgorged.
