This balanced white wine from Germany is organically produced from the Chardonnay grape variety. The Chardonnay R is an Old World wine in the best sense of the word, as this German wine exudes an exceptional European charm that clearly underscores the success of wines from the Old World. A considerable influence on the development of the grapes is also exerted by the fact that the Chardonnay vines thrive under the influence of a rather cool climate. This is expressed, among other things, in particularly long and evenly ripened grapes and a rather moderate alcohol content in the wine. At optimal ripeness, the grapes for the Chardonnay R are harvested exclusively by hand, without the use of coarse and less selective mechanical harvesters. After the grape harvest, the grapes are immediately brought to the press house. There they are sorted and gently crushed. Fermentation then takes place at controlled temperatures.
