The Costa Del Vento Derthona from the wine-growing region of Piedmont presents itself in the glass with a dense light yellow. The first nose of the Costa Del Vento Derthona reveals nuances of lemons, green apple and mirabelles. Mint/melissa joins the fruity aspects of the bouquet.
This wine tastes pleasantly dry. It was bottled with exceptionally little residual sugar. This is a genuine quality wine that clearly stands out from simpler qualities and thus, despite all its dryness, this Italian enchants with the finest balance. Aroma does not necessarily need residual sugar. Powerful and multi-layered, this crisp white wine presents itself on the palate. The finish of this white wine from the wine-growing region of Piedmont finally impresses with a lovely aftertaste. The finish is also accompanied by mineral facets from the limestone- and clay-dominated soils. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Piedmont. Here the vines sink their roots deep into soils of clay and limestone. After harvesting, the grapes are quickly brought to the winery, where they are sorted and gently crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. The fermentation is followed by maturation for several months on the fine lees before the wine is finally bottled.
