Vinification of Erstsemester Organic Red Wine from Weingut Studier

The well-balanced Erstsemester Organic Red Wine from Germany is a cuvée, vinified vegan from the Acolon and Dornfelder grape varieties. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in the Pfalz. Here, the vines drive their roots deep into soils of clay and loess. After the harvest, the grapes are brought to the press house without delay. There they are selected and gently crushed. This is followed by fermentation in small wooden barrels at controlled temperatures. After fermentation, the wine is aged for several months on the fine lees before it is finally bottled.

Food recommendation for the Erstsemester Organic Red Wine from Weingut Studier

This German red wine is best enjoyed tempered at 15 - 18°C. It pairs perfectly as an accompaniment to braised chicken in red wine, duck breast with sugar snap peas, or stuffed bell peppers.
