Vinification of the Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot from Weingut Studier
The starting point for the first-class and wonderfully balanced Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot cuvée from Weingut Studier are Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in the Palatinate. Here, the vines sink their roots deep into soils of clay and loess. After being harvested by hand, the grapes are brought to the winery as quickly as possible. There they are sorted and gently crushed. Fermentation then takes place in small wooden barrels at controlled temperatures. After fermentation is complete, the vegan-produced Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot is matured for another 12 months in oak barriques.
