The Gran Maestro Primitivo di Manduria from Cielo e Terra is a complex, fruity and velvety-smooth red wine from the large and well-known DOC Primitivo di Manduria wine-growing region in Apulia.

In the glass, this wine shimmers a rich garnet red with cherry-red highlights. The intense bouquet is carried by expressive aromas of juicy berries, freshly cooked plum jam and spicy notes of cocoa, vanilla and tobacco. On the palate, this Italian red wine is wonderfully full and round with a soft, sweet tannin structure. In addition to ripe red berries, the fullness of aromas is complemented by fine herbs and freshly roasted coffee. The harmonious finish rounds off this wine perfectly.

Vinification of the Cielo e Terra Primitivo di Manduria Gran Maestro

The hand-picked, overripe Primitivo grapes grow in one of Puglia's most famous wine-growing regions. This red wine is vinified together with the Apulian winegrower Beppe.

After the grapes have been carefully harvested, they are gently pressed and fermented at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks. Once the fermentation process is complete, this red wine matures in both stainless steel tanks and wooden barrels.
