This is a genuine quality wine that clearly stands out from simpler qualities and thus, despite its dryness, this German wine delights with the finest balance. Flavor does not necessarily require a lot of residual sugar. On the palate, the texture of this well-balanced white wine is wonderfully light and crisp. On the finish, this white wine from the Rheingau wine-growing region impresses with a lovely length. Once again, hints of grapefruit and apricot appear. In the aftertaste, mineral notes from the clay-dominated soils join in.
Vinification of Bibo Runge Hargardun Trocken Riesling
This wine clearly focuses on a single grape variety, namely Riesling. Only first-class grapes were used for this wonderfully balanced varietal wine from Bibo Runge. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in the Rheingau. Here, the vines drive their roots deep into clay soils. After harvesting, the grapes are brought to the winery without delay. There they are selected and gently crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks and large wooden casks at controlled temperatures. After fermentation, the wine is aged for several months on the fine lees before it is finally bottled.
