More information about Heart Beat Cabernet Sauvignon Dry Red Wine - Bergdolt-Reif & Nett

The elegant Herzschlag Cabernet Sauvignon red wine from Bergdolt-Reif & Nett flows into the glass with a shimmering purple-red color. Swirling the glass reveals an excellent balance, as this red wine neither clings to the walls of the glass in a watery nor syrupy or liqueur-like fashion. In the glass, this red wine from Bergdolt-Reif & Nett unveils aromas of blackberries, complemented by pepper, nutmeg, and juniper. On the palate, the Herzschlag Cabernet Sauvignon red wine from Bergdolt-Reif & Nett opens pleasantly dry, grippy, and aromatic. This meaty and dense red wine presents itself as balanced and multifaceted on the palate. With its prominent fruit acidity, the Herzschlag Cabernet Sauvignon red wine comes across as exceptionally fresh and lively. In the finish, this youthful wine from the Pfalz region ultimately impresses with considerable length, with hints of blackberry reappearing. In the aftertaste, there are also mineral notes from the soils dominated by loess and clay.

Vinification of the Herzschlag Cabernet Sauvignon Red Wine from Bergdolt-Reif & Nett

The balanced Herzschlag Cabernet Sauvignon red wine from Germany is based on grapes from the Cabernet Sauvignon variety. In the Pfalz, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow in soils of clay and loess. After the harvest, the grapes are immediately taken to the winery. Here, they are selected and carefully crushed. Fermentation then occurs in small oak barrels at controlled temperatures. The vinification is followed by several months of aging on the fine lees before the wine is finally bottled.

Food Recommendation for the Herzschlag Cabernet Sauvignon Red Wine from Bergdolt-Reif & Nett

This German red wine should be enjoyed best at a temperature of 15 - 18°C. It pairs perfectly with Boeuf Bourguignon, vegetable couscous with beef meatballs, or ossobuco.
