More information about Hohenmorgen G.C. Riesling trocken - Weingut Bürklin Wolf

With the Bürklin Wolf Hohenmorgen G.C. Riesling winery comes a first-class organic white wine in the swirled glass. In this it shows a wonderfully bright, light yellow color. If you swirl the wine glass, you can perceive a perfect balance in this white wine, because it does not stand out watery or syrupy or liqueur-like on the walls of the glass. The nose of this white wine from the Palatinate region delights with notes of lemon, peach and apricot. If we trace the aromatics further, come mineral.

The Weingut Bürklin Wolf Hohenmorgen G.C. Riesling delights with its elegantly dry flavor. It was bottled with only 1.5 grams of residual sugar. As you would expect from a wine icon wine segment, this German wine naturally enraptures with the finest balance despite all dryness. Excellent taste does not necessarily require a lot of residual sugar. On the palate, the texture of this balanced white wine is wonderfully creamy. Due to its lively fruit acidity, the Hohenmorgen G.C. Riesling is fantastically fresh and lively on the palate. In the finish, this youthful wine from the wine-growing region of the Palatinate finally thrills with exceptional length. Once again, hints of lemon and peach appear. In the aftertaste, mineral notes of the soils dominated by weathered rock and sandstone join in.

Vinification of the Hohenmorgen G.C. Riesling from Weingut Bürklin Wolf

The basis for the balanced Hohenmorgen G.C. Riesling from Germany are grapes from the Riesling grape variety. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in the Palatinate region. Here, the vines dig their roots deep into soils of limestone, sandstone and weathered rock. Without question, Hohenmorgen G.C. Riesling is also defined by the climate and viticultural style of Deidesheim. This German wine can literally be described as an Old World wine, which presents itself as extraordinarily complex. After harvesting, the grapes arrive at the winery by the fastest route. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Once fermentation is complete, the Hohenmorgen G.C. Riesling can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for several months.
