The finish is also accompanied by mineral notes of the soils dominated by sandstone.
Vinification of the Buntsandstein Pinot Blanc from Seckinger
This elegant white wine from Germany is organically vinified from the Pinot Blanc grape variety. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in the Palatinate region. Here, the vines dig their roots deep into soils of sandstone. After harvesting, the grapes quickly reach the winery. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. At the end of fermentation, the Buntsandstein Pinot Blanc is allowed to further harmonize on the fine lees for several months.
