Elio Filippino's La Morra Barolo DOCG comes in a bold garnet red colour with orange highlights.
The intense bouquet is characterized by a complex variety of aromas of ripe berries - especially raspberries and blackberries. This is accompanied by subtle hints of grapes and dark chocolate. On the palate, this Italian red wine pampers with a body-rich, sustainable character that does not lose its elegance despite all its strength. The finale is wonderfully long lasting and is accompanied by berry tones.
Vinification of Elio Filippino La Morra Barolo
The Nebbiolo grapes for this grape-varietal wine are harvested by hand and carefully selected in Elio Filippino's wine cellar. The mash is then fermented in a temperature-controlled manner. This wine rests in Slavonic oak for a total of 24 months after completion of the fermentation process.
Food recommendation for Barolo Elio Filippino La Morra
