More information about Rosa Chiara - La Scolca
The light-footed Rosa Chiara La Scolca flows into the glass with brilliant platinum yellow. This wine captivates with its elegantly dry taste profile. It was bottled with 4.5 grams of residual sugar. As one would naturally expect from a wine in the high-quality wine range, this Italian delights with its finest balance despite its dryness. Taste does not necessarily require residual sugar. On the palate, this light-footed rosé wine reveals an exceptionally light texture. Due to the moderate fruit acidity, Rosa Chiara caresses the palate with a soft sensation, without missing out on juicy liveliness at the same time. The finish of this youthful rosé from the wine region of Piedmont finally impresses with a remarkable aftertaste.
Vinification of La Scolca Rosa Chiara
The basis for the elegant Rosa Chiara from Piedmont are grapes from the varieties Cortese and Pinot Noir. After harvest, the grapes are quickly transferred to the winery. Here, they are selected and gently crushed. Subsequently, fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After fermentation is complete, Rosa Chiara can harmonize further for several months on the fine lees.
